(Weekly meeting of the County Board of Supervisors)....It will be held Tuesday in El Centro.
Residents can attend the meeting in person or via live stream. The live stream is available at the County website. At the beginninbg of the public portion of the meeting the Board will be asked to adopt a proclamation declaring the month of May as Mental Health Month. Another proclamation will declare the month as National Foster Care Month. The Supervisors will also be asked to adopt a proclamation declaring May 6 as Imperial Valley Peace Officers Memorial Day. The Board will be asked to adopt a resolution for the County of Imperial to extend remote meetings in accordance within the provisions of State Assembly Bill 361. They will receive an update from County Public Health on the COVID 19 situation in Imperial County. Human Resources will ask the Board to adopt a new Road Maintenance Worker classification. The Supervisors will be asked to approve revisions to the Regional Road Superintendent job description under the Working Supervisory Unit. Human Resources, Behavioral Health and Woirkforce and Economic development will have several other issues on the agenda, as well. The meeting will be held in the Board Chambers at the Administration Center on Main Street in El Centro.
