A 42-year-old man has been charged with Driving Under the Influence.

At about 1:00 a.m. Sunday, a fast food restaurant near the Imperial Valley Mall called police and reported a man was asleep in his car in the drive-thru lane. The man woke up and attempted to drive away and got as far as Dogwood and Wake Avenues by the time police stopped him The man was cited and released uncharges of driving under the influence.
