(Monday is the Interim City Manager's last day).....Contrary to the rumor mill, Rick Daniels is not being let go.

When Daniels took the position in March. it was understood it would only be for 3 months. The contract ends on Monday June 23rd. Daniels said he was very specific on the timetable. He said his family had plans, plus, he was 73 years old and he wanted to enjoy his retirement. The City Council is left with the decision of appointing another temporary City Manager or hire a permanent one.
