The deadline for filing property tax statements is May 7, 2025.

Robert Menvielle, Imperial County Assessor, reminds business, aircraft, and vessel owners that late filers will be subject to a 10 percent late filing penalty if the information is not filed on time. The State of California requires that business property be assessed annually. Ownership and taxability of business assets, aircraft and vessels is determined as of January 1st of each year. The information can be filed electronically at the Assessors website.
