Skippy Foods has recalled more than 80 tons of Skippy brand peanut butter.

The company is voluntarily recalling Skippy Reduced Fat Chunky Peanut Butter Spread and Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter Blended with Plant Protein, due to possible contamination by small fragments of stainless steel. The affected jars have Best if Used by dates of May of 2023. The possibly tainted Peanut Butter was sold at Wal Mart and other retail stores in California as well as 17 other states.
