(Cattle Call week a success)....Organizers are very happy with the 2021 Cattle Call week.

It was a return to live events. Last year the pandemic forced organizers to hold virtual events, and Rodeo Performances were held, but in an empty arena. The performances were televised. This year it was back to normal, and it appears participants responded. The 65th Annual Cattle Call Parade was held Saturday. The theme this year The Cowboys Are Back In Town. There were over 100 entries in the Parade. Four were awarded trophies. The Mayors Trophy went to Imperial Valley Challenger Little League. The Queens Trophy went to Too Cute Kitty Rescue. Imperial Heights Healthcare and Wellness Center was presented the Western Spirit Trophy. And the Sweepstakes Trophy went to Best STEP Forward.
