(Monday Morning incident)....It involved a semi.

The California Highway Patrol says it was reported at just after 8:00 Monday morning. A semi was on Highway 7, near the east Port of Entry. The semi somehow lost its load near Carr Road. The semi was loaded with 40 foot metal pipes. There was a report of minor injuries and AMR ambulance responded to the scene. The Imperial County Sheriff's Office also responded to the incident. Crews were called in to clean up the spilled pipes and a wrecker was summoned to tow the semi from the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
