(Supervisors donate funds).....They were Community Benefit Funds. $4,500 was donated to various community organizations, to assist youth education, vulnerable populations to protect against the weather.

The Supervisors are allotted a certain amount of Community Benefit funds to be used for public benefit. Supervisor John Hawk allotted $1,000 to support Imperial Valley Flight 144'w Civil Air Patrol program. Supervisors Martha Cardenas-Singh and Supervisor Ryan Kelley offered a combined $750 to support the West Shores Advisory Committee's Christmas Parade on December 5th. Supervisor Hawk, Peggy Price and Cardenas-Singh offered $1,000 to Cody's Closed for their 5th annual Beds 4 Knowledge event. Supervisors Cardenas-Singh, Price and Kelley offered a combined $1,750 to support Becoming Projects' Community outreach projects.
