(A Day to remember and honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice).....Several ceremonies were held around the County.

All were well attended. Ceremonies were held at the cemeteries in Calexico, El Centro and Brawley. Holtville hosted their ceremonies in Holt Park. VFW Post 9305 held two ceremonies in Elk Centro. The first was at Evergreen Cemetery, followed by another ceremony at the Veteran's Memorial Wall in Bucklin Park. The American Legion Post 60 held their traditional walk from Westmorland to Brawley, before hosting the ceremonies at Riverview Cemetery. An anonymous donor provided American Flags to decorate the graves of the veterans buried at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The City of Holtville and the American Legion Auxiliary Bradley Keffer Unit 138 hosted the ceremony at Holt Park
