The County Executive Officer Tony Rouhotas Jr. announced the appointment of Linsey Dale as Registrar of Voters/ Elections Manager. She fills the position left by Debra Porter who retired in December 2020. The Registrar of Voters plans, organizes and oversees all operations and activities of the department, including the registration of voters and conducting all Primary, General and Special elections in the County. Linsey Dale joined the County Executive Office in 2018 as Public Information Officer and recently served on the Elections Transition Team overseeing the November 2020 General Election. She formerly served as the Executive Director of the Imperial County Farm Bureau. Dale said from her time volunteering on campaigns in her 20's to her recent work on the Election Transition Team, she feels that many roads have prepared her for this position. She said she was ready to lead the department to increased efficiencies and administering honest and transparent elections for the people of Imperial County.
