(Over 51 pounds of meth seized)...It happened Saturday at the Highway 86 checkpoint.

A passenger bus was pulled over for inspection. During the inspection a k-9 team alerted to a black suitcase in the luggage compartment. Nobody on the bus claimed the suitcase. The suitcase was opened and Bordr Patrol agents found 92 vacuum sealed packages. The contents tested positive for methamphetamine. The agents determined the luggage was abandoned and seized it for further processing. The mth weighed 51.62 pounds with an estimated value of $116,145.
