Imperial Police are asking for help in identifying a suspect in a sexual assault.

According to the Imperial Police social media post, officers are investigating the sexual assault that occurred at about 10:00 p.m. on Thursday at an apartment complex in the 2300 block of Myrtle Road. The suspect is described as a male, mid to late teens and may possibly reside at the location. A security video image of the suspect is on the Imperial Police Department Facebook page. Police are asking that anyone who might have information related to the investigation contact Imperial Police.
