(County Health Department releases an update)...It is a heat related illness update.
According to the report, heat related illness has increased since the last report. Heat related Deaths, however have remained at ten. There has been 11 Heaat Strokes reported, 63 cases of heat exhaustion, and 46 heat fatigue of dehydration cases. The numbers for the report are provided by El Centro Regional Medical Center, Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District and the Imperial County Coroners Office. The National Weather Service says temperatures are expected to cool to close to seasonal normal for the next few days, beginning Thursday.
