(Calexico Fire Station #2 is almost ready to open)....A special meeting was held by the Calexico City Council this week.

(Holtville Carrot Festival is a few months away)...The Holtville Chamber of Commerce is getting ready now.

( The Annual Red Ribbon Week starts this weekend)...The week was created by the Drug Enforcement Administration in the 1980's.

(El Centro has at least one more Halloween event)...It is the Spooktacular Trick or Treat at City Hall.
