Two Earthquakes

(Desert Rocks over the weekend)….Two minor earthquakes were reported. One south of the border. One north of Imperial County. The first, a magnitude 3.9, was reported at 5:19 Saturday morning. The US Geological Survey says it was centered 6.7 miles South/east of Guadalupe Victoria, or just over 37 miles South/east of Mexicali. The second quake, a magnitude 3.3, was recorded that same morning. The Geological Survey said is was centered 5 miles North/east of Aguanga, in the Desert between Temecula and Palm Springs. No damage or injury was reported from either quake.

El Centro, California - The Ronald McDonald House of San Diego provides a “home away from home” for families with children being treated for serious, often life-threatening conditions at San Diego hospitals.  More than 25 percent of families who stay at the Ronald McDonald House of San Diego live in the Imperial Valley.
