California Highway Patrol officers responded to a car in a canal shortly before 6:00 p.m. Friday. The car apparently rolled over and ended up in a canal along Austin Road just north of Larsen Road. The driver of the Mustang was able get out of the car and suffered minor injuries. A utility pole was damaged and the IID Hazmat team was called in because of fluids from the car leaking into the canal water. The accident remains under investigation.
