(IID crews continue to repair damage)....The damage was created by Wednesday's storm.

Winds gusting up to 60 miles per hour wreaked havoc on the South County. Hardest hit was Calexico, Heber and Holtville. In all the storm affected 18 IID circuits and 12 substations. 5, 100 IID customers lost power. Thge Imperial Irrigation District says the power has been restored to the majority of customers. Much of the remaining outages involve more extensive damage, including repairs to transmission lines, poles and distribution equipment.
