A woman reported that her car was taken from a restaurant parking lot on Imperial Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

According to El Centro Police reports, a woman said she parked her red 2016 Toyota in the parking lot when she went to work at about 9:00 a.m. and about 4:30 p.m. it was gone. Police were able to use the automated License Plate Readers (LPR) to see that the vehicle was seen southbound on Imperial Avenue at about 4:30 p.m. and was later seen heading into Mexico at the east port of entry.
