El Centro Police are investigating a car versus house accident that happened at about 7:00 p.m. Monday.

According to police, a silver SUV hit the house at the corner of Imperial and Orange. The driver, a 64-year-old man, was injured and transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center. He was cited and released for outstanding warrants as well as new charges to include Driving Under the Influence. There was slight damage to the house.
