El Centro school officials turned over various items of " found property " to El Centro police.

One school turned in 29 vape pens and a pocketknife. Another school turned over 93 vape pens, 2 wallets, a bottle of BB's, various knives, 6 Apple Air Pods and 4 iPhones. All the items were either turned in or confiscated from students. The items were booked in by El Centro police and are to be destroyed.
