A truck was stolen Sunday morning and recovered about 2 hours later.

An employee of United Parcel Service on Main Street reported seeing a woman attempting to get into a yellow Penske truck being used by UPS shortly before 8:00 a.m. El Centro police were able to track the vehicle and stopped it just north of the city shortly before 9:00 a.m. The truck was recovered undamaged and the woman driving it was cited and released for possession of stolen property.
