(Spoilt onions)...A Big Rig overturned Friday morning. The rig was carrying a load of onions.

The incident was reported at 8:47 in the morning on Rutherford Road, east of Groshen Road. The Rig was pulling two trailers loaded with onions. The California Highway Patrol says the spilt onions forced a hard closure of Rutherford. The driver suffered lacerations to his head andd left arm. He was transported toa local hospital for treatment. The CHP says the incident is under investigation.,
