U. S. Border Patrol agents arrested two U. S. citizens attempting to smuggle seven undocumented individuals into the U.S. 

Late last week, a pickup truck was stopped near the junction of Highway 86 and Interstate 10. Agents noticed three individuals attempting to hide in the bed of the truck and another four in the cab of the pickup. It was determined that the seven individuals were all Mexican nationals in this country illegally. The pickup truck driver and a passenger, both U. S. citizens, were arrested. Agents also discovered a loaded Glock 27 handgun, 10 rounds of ammunition, and over $8,500 in cash.
