(Carrot Diamond Jubilee)...It began in 1948.

This year marks the 75th Annual Holtville Carrot Festival. The 2022 edition of the Festival begins February 4 with the Royalty Coronation and Citizen of the Year Banquet at the Swiss Club. February 9-10 is the Carrot Cooking Competition, hosted by the Holtville Shine Club. The Carnival Rides are open February 10 through the 13th. On February 11 it is the Carrot Festival Kick-off Concert at 7 pm. On Saturday February 12, the Carrot Races begin at 7 am. The Carrot Festival Parade kicks-off at 10 am on February 12.
