El Centro Police are investigating a theft from a Fed Ex truck making deliveries in the area of 6th and Villa Streets.

The incident occurred Thursday morning at about 9:00 a.m. when police received the report of a disturbance between two men. Police determined that a 36-year old man had attempted to steal a package from the truck. The Fed Ex driver confronted the suspect and as able to detain him for police. The suspect was arrested and booked at Imperial County Jail for Armed Robbery.
