(Martin Mendoza  was arrested at the Calexico Port of Entry.).....He is suspected in a homicide in Santa Clara County.

The body of Marissa Dinapoli was found under a bridge after she had been reported missing. The victim was the ex girlfriend of Mendoza. The suspect had been abusive and threatened the victim before she disappeared. When the victim disappeared, officials wanted to interview Mendoza, but he could not be found. Customs and Border Protection Officers recognized Mendoza as he attempted to cross back into the United States at the Calexico Port of Entry. He was detained, and CBP notified law enforcement. Mendoza was taken to County Jail to await his return to Santa Clara County.
