The early morning rain Friday cause several problems in the Valley.

As happens most times it rains, Ogilby Road was closed by the Imperial County Public Wrks Department because of flooding across the roadway. The rains also triggered a rock slide on Mt. Springs grade. Large boulders were swept into the eastbound lanes of the freeway near In-Ko-Pah. Caltrans was working to remove the boulders. The measurable rain at the Imperial county Airport was reported by the National Weather Service to be one-one hundredth of an inch.
