(The call is out for local artists)...The Black and White Art Exhibit is coming next month.

The Calexico Recreation Department and the Carmen Durazo Cultural Arts Center is inviting local artists to participate. Only Black and White art will be accepted. The registration deadline is January 7. Art work would be dropped off January 10 and 11 from 12 to 7 pm. It would be picked up February 8-9 from 12 to 7 pm. Artists must be 16 years of age and older. The exhibit will be open January 25 through February 3. Artists can regi9ster at calexicorecreation.org. Submissions are limited to 5 framed pieces per artists. All mediums will be accepted; paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, digital images and short films with a 5 minute maximum length.
