(Librarian announces her resignation)....The announcement was made this week.

Speaking before the County Board of Supervisors Crystal Duran announced her resignation. She said it was a bittersweet decision, but she had accepted another position. Duran wiill be the Library Director for Marin County. She has served as the Imperial County Librarian for the past 5 and a half years. Her resignation takes effect January 3rd, 2022.
