Border Patrol agents encountered an undocumented individual in the desert east of Calexico. He was taken to El Centro for processing., A records check identified the individual as 37 year old Leonardo Antonio Serrano Covarrubias, a Mexican National. It was also revealed the man was a documented member of the Paisas Gang. The man has an extensive criminal and immigration history. He has multiple re-entries after deportation. He was placed in custody and the Border Patrol says he will be processed accordingly.
