(Fentanyl found in a pickup)...It happened Sunday.
A 28 year old man drove the pickup up to the Highway 111 Checkpoint. A Border Patrol Canine Detection Team aleerted to the vehicle and it was sent to the secondary inspection area. As agents searched, they also questioned the driver. He admitted to have Fentanyl pills in his boot. More pills were found in the glove box in the pickup. Agents say 233 pills were seized. They all tested positive as fentanyl and were valued at around $5,800. The driver and the pills were turned over to the County Sheriff's Office. The pickup was determined to be a rental and it was later returned to the rental company.
