(El Centro Border Patrol Detains 4)...It happened late last week.

Agents working in the Jacumba Wilderness Region found three men. They were found about a mile north of the International Border. They had entered the US illegally. One of the 3 told agents a fourth man had crossed with them, but was injured and he was left behind. Agents found the man, with an apprently injured ankle. An El Centro BORSTAR Unit, EMT's and an Air and Marine Operations Helicopter. Borstar and the EMTs determined the injured man could not walk, so they transported him to an area where the helicopter could land. He was flown to an area near Ocotillo, evaluated and then transported to a hospital for treatment. The other three were taken to El Centro for processing. It was determined all four were Mexican Nationals.
