A man reported that his wallet was stolen.
According to El Centro Police , the man was an ATM outside a bank on Main Street in El Centro at about 10:30 Thursday morning when a man approached him and asked for money. The victim told the man he didn't have any money and the the thief grabbed the victims wallet and ran across the street. The wallet contained $60.00 in cash and identification cards. The suspect was described as about 5'10" tall , average weight and wearing a blue plaid shirt , gray hat and a facemask. A bank teller told police the suspect had been inside the bank earlier attempting to exchange burnt money. Investigators are reviewing video surveillance images.
