(Imperial Valley 9/11 Memorial Event and Stair Climb)....It is hosted by the Imperial Valley 9/11 Committee.

It will be held on September 11 in the Grandstand area of the Fairgrounds. It is an annual event to honor those who lost their lives in the 9/11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. Those who want to participate in the Stair Climb can register on the day of the event. Onsite registration begins at 6:30 am and is $30 per participant. The stair climb starts at 8:00 am on September 11. There will also be food vendors, beer, entertainment and displays at the event. Climb proceeds will go to benefit the programs of the FDNY Counseling Services Unit and the programs of of the Nationalk Fallen Firefighters Foundation that supports the families of our nations fallen firefighters.
