(Two Vehicle Collision)...It was reported at just before 3:00 Monday morning.

It occured on Westbound Interstate 8, near the Dogwood Road off ramp. The California Highway Patrol says both vehicles wound up in the center median. They say one occupant was ejected as a result of the collision. That person was flown by REACH Air Ambulance to Desert Regional Hospital in the Palm Springs area. The Interstate west5bound lanes were closed for a time to allow the Air Ambulance to tranbsport the injured person. The collision is under investigation and no other information is available at this time..
