The storm brought 45 mile per hour winds, lightening and rain. The National Weather Service says rain amounts varied across the county and into Coachella Valley. The storms knocked trash cans aaround and knocked down tree branches. It also caused wwide-spread power outages. Outages were reeported in Coachella Valley, Calexico, Calipatria, Brawley, Westmorland and Imperial. By late morning, The Imperial Irrigation District said power had been restored in most affected areas. They said crews were still working in Calexico and Westmorland at the time of the report. They said about 15 customers in the Coachella Valley were still without power. Road closures were also reported due to flooding. County Public Works did not have a detailed list at the time. The California Highway Patrol Said Highway 78 was closed from Stallard Road to the County Line, and Ogilby Road was closed from Interstate 8 to Highway 78,
