Police are investigating a burglary at a law office.

The burglary was reported shortly after 8:00 a.m. Friday at law office on South 4th Street in El Centro. The burglars apparently damaged a gated door and smashed windows to gain entrance to the offices. Cash and checks were taken. Damage to the building was estimated at over $900. Police were able to obtain blood evidence from the scene after dried blood was found at the scene.
