(Two vehicle collision)......It was reported at 7:40 Saturday evening.

A Chevrolet Tahoe collided with a Pick-up. It happened at the intersection of Aten and Forrester Roads. The pick-up was a Imperial County Sheriff Office vehicle. It is being reported that one of the vehicles ran the posted stop at the intersection. It has not been determined which vehicle ran the stop sign. Both vehicles wound up in a nearby field. The Sheriff Deputy in the pick-up suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced at the scene. Two people from the Tahoe were flown to hospitals by air ambulance. One was flown out of the county. The other went to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries is not known. The investigation into the collision is ongoing and no names have been released.
