Janette Angulo, Director of the County Public Health Department, told the County Board of Supervisors this week the total number of COVID 19 doses administered in Imperial County are over 75% of the population. More than 60% have been fully vaccinated. According to the numbeders released by the Public Health Department Thursday, the total number of doses administered in the county are at 185,509. Active cases of the virus are still at their lowest levels in over a year. The Thursday update indicates active cases of COVID 19 in Imperial County are at 48. Five of those are hospitalized. One is in Intensive Care.
