The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for Imperial County.

The warning is for Wednesday through Friday when daytime temperatures are expected to reach 109 to 112 degrees. If you're working outside it's important to remember to adjust to the heat , drink plenty of fluids and avoid outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day. A slight cooling trend is possible late in the weekend and early next week as low pressure increases from the west.
