(Latest COVID 19 update)....Numbers were released by the County Public Health Department.

According to the latest numbers, active cases of COVID 19 in Imperial County are at 152, as compared to 154 cases on Tuesday. There are 8 COVID 19 patients hospitalized in Imperial County, 3 more than what was reported Tuesday. There are 5 COVID 19 patients in Intensive Care, 3 more than what was previously reported. There are 7 ICU beds available in the county. The new cases per day per 100,000 population is at 7.98, as compared to 7.6 reported Tuesday. The positivity rate is at 12.33%, down from 14.03% previously reported.  Deaths attributed to the virus remain at 712.
