A Fresno man died in a Friday morning traffic accident in Yuma.

According to the Yuma CoUnty Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the intersection of County 15th Street and South Avenue D shortly after 10:00 a.m. A car eastbound on County 15th failed to stop at the intersection and collided with a southbound pickup truck. The driver of the car, 68-year-old Jorge Enriquez Rios, of Fresno, California, died at the scene. The driver of the pickup and a passenger in the car were taken to Onida Health. The passenger was later transferred to a Phoenix area hospital. According to YCSO, speed appears to be a factor in the accident.
