(City of Calexico Recreation Department and Carmen Durazo Cultural Arts Center looking for participants)....A call is out for artists and little Lego Builders.

They will participate in the It's A Lego World Art Exhibit. It is part of a Children's Day celebration. The event will celebrate creativity and inclusion in the community. The call is open to all ages and skills. Families are invited to get together and build, create or paint something together. Creations with Lego blocks are ideal, but any visual art depicting or created by children will be accepted. The exhibit will run from  from April 23rd through the 30th. The opening reception will be April 27th at 6:00 pm in the Carmen Durazo Cultural Arts Center. To register, contact the City of Calexico Recreation Department. The deadline to register is April 12.
