(AARP foundation will be in the Valley)...They will be providing free tax assistance to seniors.

They don not need to be AARP members to recieve the service. They must, however, fill out an application in order to be provided an appointment. Applications can be picked up Tuesday March 23 and April 6 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the El Centro Community Center Parking lot. The Community Center is located at 375 South 1st Street in El Centro. The applications need to be filled out and returned to schedule an appointment. AARP Tax-aide serves low to moderate income individuals. There is no fee and AARP membership is not required.
