The Imperial Valley Wellness Foundation has announced a third round of COVID-19 Response funding for non-profit organizations.

The non-profits that primarily serve the farm worker community of Imperial County may apply for the one-time grants in amounts from $1 thousand to $50 thousand. The application process will close April 2 , 2021. To qualify for the Imperial County COVID-19 Response Fund , non-profits must serve the vulnerable populations within Imperial County , especially those disproportionately affected by unemployment and other economic hardships during COVID-19 , with preference given to those who primarily serve farm workers. Non-profits must be 501 (c) 3 or have a 501 (c) 3 fiscal sponsor. To date , Imperial County non-profits have received more than $560,000 from Imperial Valley Wellness Foundation.
