Soroptimist International of El Centro has announced the recipients of the 2021 Soroptimist Ruby Women Helping Women Award.

The award honors extraordinary women who work to improve the conditions for women and girls either through personal , volunteer , or professional avenues. The 2021 Ruby Awards recipients in Imperial Valley are Norma Sierra Galindo , IID Director ; Nurse Practitioner Venus Nguyen of Vo Medical Center and Dr. Lourdes Rueda of Central Union High School. A virtual awards ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. on March 31 , 2021.
