Yuma County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning.

According to YCSO , at about 2:10 a.m. deputies responded to the area of the 8200 block of South Coconino Lane after the report of a shooting. The initial investigation shows that two victims were parked in a vehicle in the area when they saw someone come out of a residence and waive an object at them. The pair drove away and as they did so someone fired at them striking their vehicle. No one was injured in the incident. YCSO investigators served a search warrant at a residence in the area and seized shell casings and a firearm. No arrests have been made at this time. The investigations is continuing.
