A second mass vaccination drive-thru clinic for the COVID-19 vaccine will be held Friday.

The clinic will be held at Imperial Valley College from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. , by appointment only. Approximately 1,500 doses of vaccine will be available for Imperial County residents 65 years of age and older. Individuals interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine at this event must schedule an appointment by going online to www.icphd.org. Appointments can be scheduled starting at 8:00 a.m. Thursday , February 11 , 2021. The County Health Department encourages people to schedule the appointment online. If you lack access to a computer and internet you can call 442 - 265 - 6700 or 442 - 265 - 7033. The number of phone operators is limited so scheduling by phone could result in a long wait time. The Health Department suggests that people reach out to elderly relatives , friends , or neighbors to offer assistance for online registration. If you are lucky enough to schedule an appointment you are encouraged to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Expect to stay at least 15 minutes after you receive the vaccination for observation. Attendees should take a picture ID that includes their date of birth. Face coverings are required and a short sleeve shirt is recommended. 

The event is being hosted by the Imperial County Public Health Department , Imperial Valley College , Imperial County Office of Emergency Services and other partner agencies.
