(County Board of Supervisors discuss possible favoritism)

...The Board met Tuesday. They discussed a report that some are receiving a COVID vaccine out of turn. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has issued an order as to who is eligible for a vaccine and in what order it is to be administered. The protocol is in phases. the current phase A includes first responders and other emergency personal, nursing home residents, etc. The general population is in phase B. The Supervisors say they and the Public Health Department have received reports of the vaccine being given some ahead of everybody else. Two examples were an IID Director and a Reporter/film maker. The Supervisors voted 4-1 to remove medical providers from the vaccine provider list if they fail to follow protocols when administering the vaccines.
