(COVID 19 deaths increase)...The latest update was released by the County Public Health Department.

According to the update, there are now 437 deaths attributed to COVID 19. That is an increase of 3 as compared to the last report. There are currently 1,558 active cases of COVID 19 in Imperial County. There are 181 COVID 19 patients hospitalized in the County, an increase of 11 from the Tuesday report. There are now no ICU beds available in Imperial County. The New Cases Per Day Per 100,000 Population is at 57.77, down from the 59.48 reported Tuesday. The Positivity Rate is at 41.47%, up from the 34.95% reported in the Tuesday update.
